It can seem like those who have mastered them have ventured beyond the realm of physical possibilities and obtained a superpower. In this case, I'm going to examine the "1-inch punch," which Bruce Lee made famous at a 1964 karate tournament, delivering a powerful blow with his fist starting just an inch away from his opponent.
